Counsellor Directory

This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description

Who are you underneath all the masks and stories you've been told?
Gender identity, neurodiversity, and trauma can have us feeling like we're empty and alone; like there's no one underneath it all, or that being who we are isn't possible.
I've had to build myself up from scratch too. I know how hard it is, but I also know it's possible.

It's life changing to have a space to experiment and explore who you are without being judged or pushed a certain direction.
I offer my shared experience as an AuDHD trans multiple, with lots of my own trauma recovery history.

I became a therapist because I want to support my communities, and that means being able to speak to trauma, self injury, and unalive thoughts; all too common, and relatable, experiences. So this is also space to explore these, without the fear of ending up somewhere for saying the wrong thing.

For urgent support that won't call authorities on you, please check out this list of 'warm lines': https://www.inclusivetherapists.com/contact#crisis

For ongoing experiences that you want support with, come say hi and we can get to know each other.
It's important that the vibe is right and you feel comfortable working with me. I'm also happy to recommend other folks that may be a better fit.

If you'd like more details on my training, types of therapy I use, and my general approach to things, feel free to visit www.finnlily.ca, or send me an email or text if you'd like to ask me any questions.

Warm wishes,
Finn-Lily
